WELCOME TO GLOVER LANE PRESS!
I started Glover Lane Press in the summer of 2000 to give aspiring writers, journalists, photographers and passionate poets a platform to be seen and heard. I felt it was my responsibility has a human to give voice to the many who felt mute or invisible!
Many people ask me about the origins of the book entitled The Memoirs of Madlyn F. Glover; A Love & Romance with Ray Charles Robinson…..Well the truth is Madlyn F. Glover is my Mother! Mom and Ray had a passionate roller-coaster relationship between 1951-1959! The book is a coffee table photography book of their private photos and a life together.
"Almost 20 years ago, I started writing articles, poetry and stories for the greats of my time. I worked with literary geniuses like Ifalade Ta’Shia Asanti, Stephanie Dakara Wynne, Susan Webley of Sable Magazine, Angel Tyree, and many others. It was their encouragement that pushed me to start my own publishing company and literary consulting firm. 300 or so books later, I'm like how did I ever do anything else? I love my job!"
Glover Lane Press has published the works of everyone from budding writers to A-list celebrities. Some of individuals are; The Infamous Madlyn F. Glover, Ifalade Ta'Shia Asanti, Award Winning Actor Robert LaSardo, Actress CeCelia Antoinette, and my personal mentor, my spiritual leader Rev. Jenenne Macklin!
The company's catalogue features reference, fiction, non-fiction, spiritual/ metaphysical, epic novels, poetry, memoir, custom journals, full color coffee table books, and much more.
Glover Lane Press has also collaborated with, contributed to and consulting on major national and international projects such as STUD Magazine, The Terry Webb Poetry to God Volumes, and most recently Out of the Blue: Aleta's Stories by one of Azaan’s Idols Angela Bowen PhD!
Glover Lane Press 2013 is made up of several new divisions. The other very popular division is Creative Momentum. This division allows and assists authors with becoming self-publishers under their own imprint. Creative Momentum also mentors, trains, teaches etiquette and guides writers through each stage of the sometimes difficult to navigate technological publishing journey. Recently
Glover Lane Press launched it’s most recent imprint, One Spirit Publications! One Spirit Publications embodies the transformative qualities of The Secret, the healing properties of The Power of Now and the mega empowerment potential of The Power of Intention. This publishing company is more than just a book publisher, it is the beginning of a new movement created in a spirit of healing and exclusivity. One Spirit Publications will publishes the works of spiritual teachers, healers and practitioners of indigenous and earth-based spirituality.

Selected essays for One Spirit, One Body, One Truth will also honor companies whose corporate culture promote work environments where diverse expressions of life are honored and celebrated.
Among the short list of those invited to contribute to One Spirit, One Body, One Truth are Ellen Degeneres, Al Sharpton, Arch Bishop Carl Bean, Jack Canfield, Iyanla Vanzant, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Dr. Malidoma Some, Bishop Yvette Flunder and Dr. Michael Beckwith.
